The 31-year-old, who has previously had successful spells in the White Rose with Rotherham United and Barnsley, has been a target for the Tigers throughout the offseason, with the East Yorkshire club looking to win the race for his services.
The Blades have also shown an interest in the Welsh international, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Ipswich Town, helping the Suffolk club win promotion to the Premier League.Moore has agreed terms with Hull and is likely to join Tim Walter’s squad at their warm weather training in Turkey shortly.
Another of Moore’s former teams, Cardiff, has been connected with a move this summer, alongside Hull and the Blades.
Moore would be Hull’s first second-round signing of the offseason, with much of the focus on outgoings, with Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene set to join the Premier League.
Hull have recalled forward Oscar Estupinan from his loan spell in Brazil.
Middlesbrough is interested in City’s other summer signing, Ryan Giles, who joined the club after a buy clause was added to his initial loan agreement.
So far, the Blades have signed two players: Jamie Shackleton, a former Leeds United utility player, and Sam McCallum, a former Norwich City and Coventry City left back.
