Breaking news:Newcastle’s £44.5 million “proposal” is expected to “meet” Barcelona’s expectations in a deal to acquire Howe’s top target…..

Reports indicate that Newcastle United have made a fresh “offer” to FC Barcelona in their bid to sign Brazil international Raphinha.

This summer, Newcastle have spent approximately £47 million to acquire Lewis Hall and Odysseas Vlachodimos from Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, respectively, and have also signed Lloyd Kelly from AFC Bournemouth on a free transfer.

The Magpies are anticipated to make additional signings before the summer transfer window closes later this month, with England international Marc Guehi nearing a move to the club for approximately £60 million.

According to Football Insider, Newcastle have already reached a ‘personal terms’ agreement with Guehi and are engaged in ‘advanced talks’ with Crystal Palace.

‘The North East giants have settled on personal terms with the England international, who is eager to join St James’ Park this summer before the window ends. Negotiations between the Premier League clubs are ongoing for a deal starting at £50 million, potentially increasing to over £60 million.’

‘All involved are optimistic that a deal will be finalized, resulting in the central defender joining Newcastle.’
