The Chicago Bulls are still looking for a new home for Zach LaVine, but they have been unsuccessful in Los Angeles.
According to Tomer Azarly of Legion Hoops, the Los Angeles Clippers have “no interest” in trading for LaVine.
That means Chicago’s alternatives are becoming increasingly limited as the regular season approaches.
LaVine is not a horrible player by any means; he averaged 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 2023-24.
He also shot 45.2% from the field, but his season was cut short after just 25 games due to an injury.
The difficulty with LaVine is that he has a history of ailments and a high price tag.
As a result, other teams, such as the Clippers, are hesitant to sign LaVine and bear the cost of his high salary.
With the Clippers out of the picture, the Bulls will need to search elsewhere to find a new home for LaVine.
There is a rising probability that the Bulls will keep LaVine because no attractive trade offer has been given.
However, previous sources stated that LaVine’s relationship with the Bulls has been fully destroyed and cannot be repaired.
However, they may be obliged to work with LaVine in the upcoming season, at least for a few months.
If they can’t find another team to transfer him to, the Bulls will keep LaVine but will constantly search for a new contract before the trade deadline.
LaVine may not be moving to Los Angeles, but he will most likely be leaving Chicago shortly.
