Marchand, who will turn 37 during the upcoming season, is entering the final year of his eight-year, $49 million deal. He has indicated that he is prepared for any eventuality concerning his future, including the chance that he may not continue with the Bruins. “There’s mutual respect between both parties, which allows us to navigate this situation,” Marchand commented on September 3. “Let’s leave it at that.”
