Khyree Jackson, a 24-year-old cornerback with the Minnesota Vikings, passed away following an overnight vehicle accident on Friday.
After making an impression for the Oregon Ducks in the 2023 season, Jackson was chosen by the Vikings in the fourth round of the NFL draft this year.
And on Friday, July 5, late at night, the American citizen lost his life in an automobile accident in his birth state of Maryland. On Saturday, the Vikings verified the information.
“We are devastated by the news of Khyree Jackson’s death following an overnight car accident,” the franchise said in a statement. We are praying for Khyree’s family, friends, coaches, teammates, and all the other victims of this horrible event.
Kevin O’Connell, the coach of the Vikings, expressed his grief and said, “I am absolutely crushed by this news.” Khyree instilled a contagious excitement in our staff and facility. His teammates gravitated toward him right away because of his self-assurance and charisma.
