One of the biggest stars of the second June scholastic live period in Atlanta was Simon Walker, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Huntsville (Ala.). After falling out of the 247Sports Top150 during our most recent update, the three-star shooting guard was making a strong case to make his way back into the rankings via his play during the second live scholastic period over the weekend. His strength, IQ, toughness and skill left imprints all over each game he competed in with his shot-making, positional rebounding and passing in front of dozens of college coaches.
The recruitment of Adam Oumiddoch has begun to grow since college coaches are now able to speak with members of the class of 2026 directly. The 6-5, 180-pound shooting guard, who is now a student at Atlanta (Ga.) Overtime Elite, is fully open to recruits and is ranked 39th in the class.
“I recently received an offer from Oklahoma State. They contacted my coach and expressed their desire for me to succeed as Cade Cunningham, so that was encouraging. Iowa recently contacted me as well; during the call, Coach Spurlock and the head coach were present, and they expressed their admiration for my quickness and style of play. Furthermore, Providence, every one of the staff has been wonderful to me ever since I started high school. Both Coach Fuller and Coach Campbell are wonderful people. These are a few of the schools with which I have lately communicated.”
